EA Group evaluates opportunities against a disciplined set of criteria. We prioritise asset-backed structures, regional relevance and long-term value creation over short-term yield.
Asset backing
Preference for opportunities anchored in tangible assets — land, infrastructure, energy installations, or real property.
Sector alignment
Infrastructure, renewable energy, real estate development, agribusiness, media and distribution in the Western Balkans region.
Long-term horizon
We are not a short-cycle investor. Partnership structures should accommodate a multi-year development or holding horizon.
Structured governance
Clear roles, defined responsibilities and mutual accountability are prerequisites for any partnership or co-investment arrangement.
Regional presence
Primary focus on North Macedonia and the broader Western Balkans. Cross-border opportunities considered on a case-by-case basis.
Minimum ticket size
Project or partnership opportunities with a capital requirement or asset value typically above €500K. Smaller opportunities evaluated selectively.
